Joey Bosa leaves game, college career early in Ohio State’s Fiesta Bowl victory

When Joey Bosa was ejected in the first quarter of Ohio State's game versus Notre Dame in the 2016 Fiesta Bowl, I knew we would need a post-game story on the moment. I wrote about the targeting penalty, Bosa's reaction after it as he walked off the field, and head coach Urban Meyer's take on the play.

With this being one of the game's top storylines, it was clear nearly every media outlet would have a story on it so I was cognizant about trying to write a story that stood out. One thing I did to ensure that was follow Bosa out of the stadium, his final walk to the bus as a Buckeye. That final scene was the kicker to my story.
