When journalists aren’t trusted, corruption often follows

It’s no secret the media has a trust problem. But what are the consequences of that? Is it just a few more tweets decrying “fake news”? Is it more violence against reporters? For the Society of Professional Journalists’ Quill Magazine, I tried to find out. Spoiler alert: it’s not good.
